5/1 on Novak Djokovic to win Aus Open with Betbright

For a limited time only, Betbright are running a magnificent offer on World Number 1 and current defending champion, Novak Djokovic, to win the 2016 Australian Open.

Up until Midnight on Thursday 21st January, anybody opening a new Betbright account through this link can get a massive 5/1 on Novak Djokovic to win the Australian Open.

Betbright have indicated that the offer might run beyond midnight tomorrow (the offer is now live until 23.59 on Saturday 23rd January), but to be sure of getting it, I would grab the offer now. After you open your Betbright account, this has to be the first bet you place, and it has to be a £10.00 bet.

Djokovic is already into the third round, after beating Quentin Halys in three sets overnight. He has seen a potential rival in Rafael Nadal already crash out, okay, maybe Nadal wasn’t a realistic challenger, but he did show signs of a return to form towards the end of 2015.

Another main rival, Andy Murray, has already admitted he will be pulling out and going home should his wife go into labour during the competition, and with the birth of his first child fairly imminent, it remains to be seen how much Murray’s mind is actually on the Australian Open.

One of Djokovic’s other chief rivals, Roger Federer, came up fairly short in both the Wimbledon and US Open finals last year. It appears at the moment that Novak has the measure of the great man, and it’s hard to see the Swiss changing that at this point of his career.

All this points towards a fairly routine defence of the title for Djokovic. He was imperious throughout 2015, and we know he has the pedigree for this tournament, as he has already won it 5 times.

In the Tennis Betting most bookmakers have the Serb at around 4/7 to add a sixth title to his trophy cabinet, and it really is hard to see him falling short.
