The Prestbury Cup (also known as the Betbright Cup), is a lesser known newly created competition that takes place over the 4 days of the Cheltenham Festival, every year.
What Is The Prestbury Cup?
The Prestbury Cup is a recently created competition between Great Britain and Ireland, to see which proud horse racing nation will have the most winning horses over the 4 days of the Festival.
So for example, if 10 Irish horse win and only 7 British horse win, then Ireland will win the Prestbury Cup.
And where this is competition at Cheltenham, there is a betting market, and so who will win the Prestbury Cup has become a popular betting market over the past few years.
