It’s the start of two weeks of solid tennis, as this year’s Wimbledon Championship gets under way at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club later today.
The whole two weeks is live on BBC television, and supporters of tennis, bet365, have a great range of markets to choose from, as well as live streaming of the coverage throughout the whole tournament.
If you haven’t already got a bet365 account, you can open one here and claim their magnificent £200.00 Welcome Bonus.
In the men’s side of the draw, Novak Djokovic is currently the 5/4 (2.25) favourite with bet365 to win the Single’s title, with Britain’s Andy Murray second favourite at 11/4 (3.75). There’s plenty of value in other big hitters in the market though, with Rafael Nadal at 12/1 (13.00), and recently crowned French Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka at 14/1 (15.00) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at 33/1 (34.00).
As usual, it’s hard to see past Serena Williams in the women’s betting, she is the 7/4 (2.75) favourite. Second favourite is Petra Kvitova at 10/3 (4.33). Again, there’s lots of value around with big prices available on Sabine Lisicki at 20/1 (21.00), Agnieszka Radwanska at 33/1 (34.00) and Caroline Wozniacki, also at 33/1 (34.00).
bet365 customers will be able to watch Live Streaming action from the courts, and as ever they also have a host of in-play markets available during the matches. Please note though, the Live Streaming service is geo-blocked in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Finland, Italy, Switzerland and USA.
Also available from bet365 is their fantastic Tennis Accumulator offer. This gives you the chance to earn a bonus of up to 50% on accumulators including matches from all the top Tennis tournaments and events, such as Wimbledon. This offer applies to pre-match accumulators on To Win Match, First Set Winner and Set Betting, markets for Singles and Doubles matches. Bonuses are applied to winning accumulators.
A winning double will receive 5% bonus, all the way up to a 50% bonus paid on winning 12-fold accumulators (and upwards).
Back to Men’s Singles betting, and one of the most popular markets is the Name The Finalists. This year – on paper at least – it is looking like a two horse race between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. The odds on the so called ‘Big Two’ to make the final is 15/8 with bet365, second favourite in this market is 100/30 on a Djokovic V Federer final, with Djokovic/Nadal at 11/1, and Murray/Wawrinka 12/1. If you fancy an all Swiss final between Stan Wawrinka and Roger Federer, you can currently get 20/1.
