For the start of the William Hill PDC Darts World Championship, Sky Sports announced the launch of their new channel Sky Sports Darts.
So what exactly is Sky Sports Darts? Well, the the answer is that it is simply Sky Sports 3 re-branded, and can be found on Sky channel 404. I’m sorry to disappoint any Sky Sports subscribers who are thinking they are getting a brand new channel, because they aren’t. As soon as the world championship has finished, I would imagine that it will simply revert back to Sky Sports 3.
Sky did exactly the same thing last summer for the Ashes, when they re-branded Sky Sports 2 (I think it was) into Sky Sports Ashes, and as soon as the cricket was finished, it simply reverted back to the old Sky Sports brand.
The William Hill PDC Darts World Championship runs from 18th December 2014 until 4th January 2015. During the tournament, punters will be getting a lot of betting specials from William Hill, as well as a free bet of £25.00 for all new William Hill customers opening an account here.

All new Paddy Power customers opening an account here can get a free bet of £50.00.
