Relegation Betting Guide

No real change at the bottom with all the bottom seven losing, the bottom three are the main losers as no ground has been made up and they are one more match closer to spending next season in the Championship.

With West Brom looking doomed the focus was on the North East clubs. Newcastle were again hammered and looked hopeless at the back, while Middlesbrough and Sunderland both surrendered meekly. At least Hull put up a bit of a fight at Villa park and almost stole a point with a strong finish.

Portsmouth and Blackburn who will also still be looking over their shoulders were both well beat at the weekend as well, both should be safe though as it’s hard to see where Middlesbrough and Newcastle are going to get six or seven points from now – if they where not due to play each other this weekend you would have to wonder where they might have got one point from between them the way they’ve both been going.
