Yet again the Number 1 ranking spot is up for grabs. Australia need to win the series to regain the top spot they lost to South Africa when the sides met earlier this year and Graeme Smith’s side triumphed. The South Africans have Smith back in the squad and are hopeful he can make his comeback today, especially now that Jacques Kallis has been ruled out with his on-going groin injury. The Aussies look set to revert back to Michael Clarke and Brad Haddin opening in the 50 overs games as David Warner has returned to Australia, they will also be hoping Nathan Bracken can bounce back from the rare pasting he took in the T20’s.
