Tuesday Fixtures and Best Odds
Tuesday Night’s fixtures see three of the top five in action, Liverpool and Chelsea both now seven points behind leaders Man Utd will be looking to attempt to apply some pressure on United by seeing off Sunderland and Portsmouth respectively. Liverpool V Sunderland is the Sky Live game, the reds league form has slipped badly since Benitez’s attack on Alex Ferguson a few weeks ago and Rafa will be looking for a performance more in keeping with the one against Madrid rather than Middlesbrough.
Chelsea struggled at home again last Saturday but not for the first time managed to grab the three points with a late winner, their away form this season though has been remarkable and they will be expecting that to continue against Portsmouth who have shown slight signs of improvement under Paul Hart but should still be no match for Gus Hiddink’s side.
After a barren run in front of goal a visit to the Premier League’s bottom club could be just what the doctor ordered for Arsenal. Booed off last saturday after another goalless draw the Gunners could well revel playing away from the pressures of the Emirates and with West Brom’s relegation form of late three points to get them back on track should be coming Arsene Wenger’s way at the Hawthorns.
