Two six pointers today see Hull taking on Blackburn and in the Live TV game on Setanta Bolton take on Newcastle. Hull’s disasterous run continued last week with defeat to Tottenham dragging them right into the mix. Blackburn, after their initial great start under Sam Allardyce now have only one win in seven in the League.
Bolton with two wins – both at home – in their last three games will be looking to continue that home form against a Newcastle team starting to find a bit of form at the right time. Newcastle are unbeaten in three games now and are starting to get some of their injured players back, Obafemi Martins and Alan Smith are fit enough to make the squad this week.
The other two games see a rare midtable fixture with not much riding on it between West Ham and Man City, while Aston Villa will be looking to consolidate their place in the top four after Arsenal’s latest slip when they take on struggling Stoke at Villa Park.
